THE HEART BEHIND STORMLINE
My entire life, I have never loved anything quite like I love dogs. As a little girl they were everything to me. My first dog as a child, Lady, was my whole world. She showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be. I collected dog books, learned everything I could about them, and always knew they would be an important part of my life.
Then I grew up and somewhere along the way, that little girl and her passion became quieter. That changed when I brought home my Doberman, Stormy. She brought me back to who I have always been. As I began training her I realized I didn’t just love dogs, I loved understanding them, communicating with them and watching their confidence grow. Through Stormy I found the work I was meant to do.
I believe dogs are meant to experience life alongside us - not confined within the same four walls because taking them anywhere feels stressful or overwhelming. Clear communication and dependable training give owners the confidence to include dogs in more of their lives.
That belief became Stormline. My goal is to help owners move beyond frustration, build a stronger bond and confidently experience more life together.
The Stormline Standard.
I am passionate about balanced training because I believe dogs thrive when communication is clear, fair and consistent. That means rewarding and reinforcing behaviors we want while also providing appropriate corrections for behaviors that are unsafe or unacceptable. Training should never leave a dog guessing.
I do not believe training for every dog looks the same. I believe strongly in training the dog in front of us. I use tools and methods that best fit each individual dog. The goal is to build a dog that understands how to make better choices, has more freedom and an owner who feels confident in including their dog in more everyday life.
I am always transparent about the tools I use and why I use them. No tool is used to simply punish a dog. The E-collar is introduced in a positive, clear way so that the dog understands what it means and gets excited when you pick it up to put it on your dog. I also always teach owners how to use it clearly and fair so they can maintain training after their dog comes home.
